fuzzylime (cms) is a PHP script which can be easily used by anyone, from beginners to advanced users. It has everything you might need, including blogs with comments, galleries, podcasting, video posting, polls, mailing lists, guestbooks, different templates, password-protected pages, RSS, etc. and you can add as many pages as you want to. The current available version is a flat file script with no database needed for storing your information. A MySQL version of the script will be available soon on http://cms.fuzzylime.co.uk/
fuzzylime (cms) is the perfect content management system for any types of websites, from small ones to those having tons of content. Currently, the script is available in several different languages: English, Dutch, French, Italian, Polish, Spanish and Swedish. Various users can also register and become a part of a comunity that will contribute to the fast growth of your site.
The script is easy to set up. After installing it, you will have all the freedom that you need to create your own custom site or to use and customize some of the templates provided with the script. Using the fuzzylime (cms) script you will be able to create several types of sites such as blogs, forums, image galleries or guestbooks.
In order to install the fuzzylime (cms) script for your site hosted in your account with us, use the Elefante Free Scripts menu under the Web Tools section in your accunt's Control Panel:
Once you access the menu you will see a list of all the available scripts in the Elefante Installer. The fuzzylime (cms) script could be found in the Content Management section:
A single click on the script's name will start the installation process. A popup window containing extended information about the script will open. In order to continue the installation, follow the „Install fuzzylime (cms) v3.0.2“ link:
The next step of the installation wizard is the script's settings configuration page. First of all, you will have to choose a domain or a subdomain name that you wish to install the script for. The field is named „Domain“ and is organized as a dropdown menu where you will be able to choose one of the available hosted domain or subdomain names. The second field is „Path“. This is where you specify inside which domain or subdomain name folder the script files will be placed. If you choose to leave the default folder, the script will be installed in a subfolder in your domain name folder and will be available as shown in the example below.
The next three fields represent your administrator user details that you wish to set so that you will be able to manage the script. The last field is „Site Name“ where you can set a name for your newly created site.
Once you are ready with the configuration you will have to follow the „Install“ button at the bottom of the window and to allow some time for the script to be installed:
After a few seconds the script will be installed and you will see a page where all the installed applications will be listed for you. The new site URL will be available as well as the Admin URL where you will be able to check the administration details that you have previously set and to log in to the script administration section:
By clicking on the Admin URL you will see a window with the script administration information needed for script management purposes:
