Joomla

Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone. The main reason for presenting Joomla to you is the fact that it is one of the most powerful content management systems ever made. This easy-to-use script is a good solution if you would like to create corporate websites, portals or even school and church websites. The variety of extensions that Joomla provides you with is really huge. These site tools will help you to create the desired website in no time with just several clicks of your mouse sitting in front of your computer. You may implement a WordPress blog or even a phpBB2 forum in the Joomla CMS and integrate them in your official site which will give you a strong advangate on the Web. The installation of the Joomla application will take you several minutes and then you will be ready to build your site and host it on our servers.

As you log in to your account’s Control Panel you will see the Elefante Installer icon under the Web Tools menu.

You are one step away from starting the installation. You will see the free scripts that we offer divided into sections. Go to the CONTENT MANAGEMENT list and click on the Joomla link there.

Following the Joomla link you will start the installation procedure. A pop-up window containing the Joomla script information will appear in the middle of the main screen of your web hosting Control Panel.

After a click on "Install Joomla" you will be forwarded to the second step of the script installation. You will see a notification "You don't have a MySQL Database created".

Follow the "Create a database" link which will forward you to the MySQL Databases menu of your account’s Control Panel.

Create a new database with the desired name and password and then go back to the Joomla installation window. Click on "Click here to refresh and complete the installation". Then you will be allowed to proceed with the installation. Note that if you already have a database, you will just have to select it and to fill in the text fields with the required details.

Click on the ‘STEP3: Install’ button and wait for the installation procedure to complete. You will see this window during the installation.

As the installation finalizes you will see a full list of login details for the administrator's section of your future site.

The procedure of installing Joomla has come to an end. Now you will have to log in to your Joomla administration panel and fill your site with content. Feel free to experiment with the Joomla application that we have presented to you.
