WordPress is a PHP and MySQL based script. It's the most popular blog system nowadays. Like the creators say, WordPress is a state-of-the-art publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. Never has the work with text been so easy. You can use it for your personal or corporate site.

WordPress has minimal system requirements:

- MySQL 4.0 or greater
- The mod_rewrite Apache module

As mentioned above, working with text has never been easier. The Texturize engine enables you to convert plain ASCII into typographically correct XHTML entities. You can use quotes, apostrophes, ellipses, em and en dashes, multiplication symbols, and ampersands. Even more, the published article will fully correspond to the WC3 standard. You have the oportunity to add pictures, audio, embed videos, links. There is a spell checker tool, which makes editing not such a tedious task.
You can use themes. Installing a new theme is a pretty simple task. You have to upload it in the ‘wp-content/themes’ folder. It filters every published comment – checking if it's a Spam or not. Unfortunately, it can be used only by clients of the „Personal“ plan and above. Clients of the „Free“ and „Free - No Ads“ plans can't take advantage of this extraordinary tool, because the outgoing connections are blocked and the Akismet needs access to the WordPress API:

WordPress installation through the Elefante Free Scripts tool
To install WordPress you need to have a MySQL database. All the information about your WordPress site will be kept in the MySQL database. You can create such a database using the MySQL Databases menu:
You must enter a name and a password and the database will be created:

After the database has been created you can proceed to the WordPress installation. The Elefante Free Scripts menu is accessible either through the Control Panel toolbar’s Web Tools section:

You'll be sent to the Elefante Free Scripts menu. The next step is to choose WordPress from the list:

Into the WordPress installation wizard menu you must indicate the database that will be using WordPress:
Proceed to Step 2. It's necessary that you enter a database prefix which will use WordPress. Choose a host where the script will be installed. Enter a path where the files will be copied. Now choose a name for the administrator's account, a password and an email address. The next step is to enter the Weblog title and press the „Step 3: Install” button:
You'll have to wait a bit until all the files are copied and the database tables created:
After the succesfull installation you'll be forwarded to the Installed Applications menu:
From here you have direct access to the folder where the WordPress script is installed:
The Admin URL link leads to the WordPress Administration panel. Here you can see the administrator details which you've set. There's also a direct link to the WordPress Administration panel:
